State agencies in 15 districts and cities will be relocated to a single building
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is holding a meeting with representatives of small and medium-sized businesses dedicated to increasing the role of the sector in the economy and advancing its development to a new level.
During the meeting, the head of state outlined the main goals and tasks for the sector for 2025. According to him, the following is planned:
– to raise the share of small and medium-sized businesses in the economy to 55 percent, creating 70 billion dollars in added value;
– to assist in entering new markets by addressing transport, certification, and standard issues, increasing small business exports from last year's 9 billion to 12 billion dollars;
– to increase the share of small businesses in drinking water, sewage, roads, construction, utilities, supply, recycling, migration, culture, and social services by 2-3 times;
– to create 1.5 million permanent jobs, raising the share of employed population in the sector to 75 percent;
– to increase the number of enterprises with more than 100 employees to 4,000;
– to establish 100 new brand products in small business;
– to finance 200 startup projects with the participation of small businesses.
It was noted that due to the created conditions, 250,000 new enterprises have started operations in three years. Most of them need land and buildings to "get on their feet" and expand their activities.
“When selecting lands, governors must auction off the places requested by entrepreneurs who are eager to expand and have prepared projects,” the president emphasized.
For example, the "Mingboyev Robotics" company in Yunusabad produces prosthetics and exoskeletons for people with disabilities, returning about 100 individuals to active social life. The entrepreneur requested a convenient place for people with disabilities to easily enter and exit to expand his activities.
It has been determined that state facilities of up to 10,000 square meters will be leased free of charge for 5 years to entrepreneurs creating such high-tech products.
At the same time, a new system will be introduced: in 15 districts and cities, all government agencies will relocate to a single multi-story building in the district centers. The 1st and 2nd floors of the new buildings will be sold to entrepreneurs.
In these districts, 150 buildings that will be vacated by government agencies will be offered to entrepreneurs at auction. This year, an additional 500 billion soums will be allocated to the 1 trillion soums designated for the infrastructure of small and medium-sized business projects.
