When will the dormitory application open for the 2025 students?

Accommodation in student dormitories has always been one of the important issues for applicants admitted to higher education institutions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The results of entrance test exams, that is, mandates for the 2025/2026 academic year for higher education institutions have been announced. However, many questions arise about when the opportunity to apply for dormitory accommodation will open among the young people admitted to the 1st year.

Every young person recommended for enrollment has the right to be accommodated in the student dormitory attached to the state higher education institutions. This process is carried out online through the Public Services Centers or the my.gov.uz portal.

Currently, the process of entering the data of those recommended for the 1st stage into the "Student Dormitory" information system is ongoing. Therefore, the service for submitting dormitory applications has not yet been launched.

According to official information, after the system is fully updated and the necessary database is entered, applicants will have the opportunity to submit applications. Additional information about the start of the service will be separately announced by the relevant authorities.

Also, according to the ministry's regulations, applicants with privileges are accommodated in student dormitories first. Then, vacant places are distributed on a queue basis to students on the general list.

It is planned to allocate up to 55-65 percent of dormitory places for students admitted to the 1st year. This creates additional opportunities for many young people.
