Lawyer and blogger Khushnud Khudoyberdiyev provided new information regarding the admission processes for the 2025-2026 academic year. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, applicants who scored the maximum points in this year's test exams were admitted to higher education institutions based on state grants. Specifically, all applicants who scored 189 points received grants.
Khudoyberdiyev said in his live broadcast: “Many were worried about entering on a contract basis even with 189 points, but I explained to them that applicants who scored 189 points are admitted based on state grants.” Test results showed that state grants were allocated for all applicants who scored 189 points across all higher education institutions. In particular, 140 applicants who scored 189 points were admitted to the University of World Economy and Diplomacy based on state grants.
These results indicate that opportunities to study on a grant basis in Uzbekistan's higher education system have further expanded, and the admission processes are conducted transparently and fairly. At the same time, scoring the maximum points is an important factor in being admitted on a grant.
According to Khushnud Khudoyberdiyev, organizational and legal mechanisms should be further developed in the future to assist applicants in gaining admission to state grants. This will contribute to increasing the efficiency of the higher education system.
