A new procedure is being introduced in the Republic of Uzbekistan to detect family conflicts early and prevent offenses. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On August 18 of this year, by presidential decree, it was established that families prone to conflicts and quarrels in neighborhoods with a high risk of crime will be regularly monitored every three days. According to this procedure, employees of internal affairs bodies and citizens included in the "mahalla seven" will keep households where family disputes may occur under constant supervision.
Additionally, public groups called "mahalla promoters" will be organized in neighborhoods. They will operate to assist families and prevent conflicts.
According to the decree, areas with a high risk of crime will be fully equipped with video surveillance systems. To enhance security, "panic buttons" will be installed.
Furthermore, as an advanced practice, projects such as "model safe home" and "model safe street" will be implemented. These measures aim to ensure public safety, reduce family conflicts, and create a stable environment in society.
