A strict policy is being pursued to ensure judicial independence. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced during an open dialogue with entrepreneurs that business entities will be allowed to apply to economic and administrative courts outside their registered location. From now on, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to file lawsuits in courts on an extraterritorial basis.
Additionally, an "astrent" system will be introduced in the country. This system refers to the amount of money assigned in favor of the creditor as an incentive to the debtor based on a court decision.
This measure aims to make court proceedings more efficient. As emphasized by the head of state, the independence of the courts is being strengthened, and a strict policy in this regard continues.
Currently, entrepreneurs' legal literacy is increasing, which is clearly reflected in the rise of court applications. These innovations serve to ensure the transparency and fair operation of the judicial system.
