There is great interest among applicants in our country towards medical colleges, and important updates regarding the selection process have been announced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, the admission competition to medical colleges based on the scores obtained in the bachelor entrance exams will continue until August 28, inclusive. This process is organized through the Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health Colleges.
Admission to these institutions for secondary and secondary specialized vocational education programs in the full-time form of education is conducted on the principle of "first test, then selection." To facilitate applicants, young people who participated in the entrance exams can register online through the my.uzbmb.uz platform from June 5 to 25 and participate in the competition for medical colleges according to their preference.
The selection is carried out as follows: applicants who choose one or both of the subjects biology and chemistry in the main science block are evaluated based on their total scores. If biology or chemistry are not included in the main science block, such applicants have the right to choose a specialty based on their results in the compulsory subjects – native language, mathematics, and the history of Uzbekistan.
Thus, the admission competition to medical colleges continues until August 28. After the competition ends, the results regarding whether applicants are recommended for enrollment or not will be announced within a week.
The document submission process for colleges in fields other than medicine will be conducted on the my.edu.uz platform until September 10, 2025. In this process, entrance exams will be held in written form according to the rules established for full-time and evening education forms.
For the 2025/2026 academic year, admission parameters have been set for a total of 549 colleges based on general secondary education. According to these, a total of 143,114 places have been allocated, of which 66,484 are distributed as state grants.
For full-time education, 102,194 places are allocated, for evening education 2,250 places, and for dual education 38,670 places. Additionally, 17,250 state grants are allocated for dual education.
This arrangement provides applicants with broad opportunities to choose their future profession and makes the education process more convenient. Detailed information can be obtained from the official website of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations.
