Uzbekistan will have three days off for Independence Day
At the beginning of September, citizens of Uzbekistan will have three consecutive days off in celebration of Independence Day. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by the Kursiv publication. Employees with a five-day workweek will have the opportunity to rest from August 31 to September 2.

Employees with a six-day work schedule will have days off on August 31 and September 1. The Ministry of Labor confirmed this information.

No additional days off have been designated, and no changes have been made to the existing calendar. Additionally, the mayor of Washington, D.C., USA, declared September 1 as the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence.

This decision was regarded as a symbol of strengthening cooperation between the two countries. Washington officials also noted that the USA was one of the first countries to recognize independent Uzbekistan.
