
According to data from the Central Bank, the number of vacancies in Uzbekistan significantly increased in the second quarter of 2025, while job seekers' activity decreased. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to job search services, the number of vacancies rose by 28.7 percent compared to the previous quarter. The highest demand was observed in trade, general catering, and manufacturing sectors.
The Central Bank noted that seasonal factors influenced the growth in April and June. At the same time, online job search activity has declined over the past two years.
Additionally, there is an insufficient number of specialists with the qualifications required by employers. Many submitted resumes do not meet the established criteria.
Furthermore, in April-June 2025, the share of enterprises ready to increase the number of employees in the next three months decreased by 30.2 percent. This information was published by the Kursiv edition.
