According to the decision adopted by the Tashkent city council on August 22, the prices for hot water and heating services in the capital will be increased. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision applies to the population and organizations, and a significant increase in service prices is expected. Tariffs for the population will increase by 15%, while prices for legal entities, i.e., enterprises and organizations, will rise by up to 40%.
For state budget organizations, the tariff is set to increase by 18.8%. The new tariffs, excluding basic VAT, are established at 711,641 soums/Gcal, applied as 139,860 soums/Gcal for the population, 342,296 soums/Gcal for legal entities, and 952,797 soums/Gcal for budget organizations.
It is not yet clear when these tariffs will come into effect, as the decision must be signed by the city mayor, Shavkat Umurzoqov. According to experts, the tariff increase is necessary to finance the heating supply system and ensure stable service provision.
However, these changes may cause varied reactions among the population and entrepreneurs. Additionally, problems related to heating and water supply in the capital remain relevant every year.
Therefore, the new tariffs are expected to affect not only the price but also the quality of services. Source: zamin.uz
