The participants of the "Visit to the Aral" international car tour project visited the Samarkand and Bukhara regions, famous for their historical and cultural heritage. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This car tour was organized on the initiative of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with SamAuto and with the practical support of Tegeta Motors company, aiming to showcase the country's tourism potential on an international scale. Tourists got acquainted with the Ulugh Beg Observatory, Registan complex, and Shah-i-Zinda monuments in Samarkand.
In Bukhara, they visited historical sites such as Poi Kalyan, Lyabi Hauz, and the Ark fortress. They had the opportunity to explore not only architectural monuments but also local craft centers, pottery, jewelry making, and traditional silk production.
The car tourists enjoyed Uzbek national dishes at local eateries, tasting traditional meals such as plov, shurpa, qurutob, and samsa. They also witnessed the hospitality and warmth characteristic of the Uzbek people.
During the visit, participants shared their impressions in real-time through social networks, personal blogs, and mass media. This not only contributes to the wide promotion of the tourism potential of Samarkand and Bukhara but also helps strengthen Uzbekistan's international tourist image.
The project participants are expected to visit the Aral Sea region soon. This is considered an important step in developing ecological and ethnotourism directions.
The main goal of the international car tour is to expand cooperation in the tourism sector, strengthen cultural ties, and convey a positive image of Uzbekistan to the world community. Source: zamin.uz
