During the first state visit of Jordanian King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein to Uzbekistan, 15 important documents were signed between the two countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Additionally, the introduction of a visa-free regime was announced. During this visit, Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was awarded the highest honor of the Kingdom of Jordan — the "An-Nahda" order.
It was emphasized that this event holds significant importance in the history of Uzbekistan. The head of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, Mufti Shaykh Nuriddin Kholiqnazar, specially noted the historical significance of this visit and award.
According to him, this order is a symbol given to individuals deserving high recognition. The Mufti believes that this event is a vivid example of Uzbekistan strengthening its position on the world stage.
Our President's foresight and political will have laid the foundation for implementing profound reforms in the country's domestic and foreign policies. Shaykh Nuriddin Kholiqnazar emphasized that Uzbekistan is now establishing strong ties not only with neighboring countries but also with the Middle East and Arab states at a new level.
Jordan, as a country with influence in the Muslim world, is an important partner for Uzbekistan. The expansion of our President's relations with Arab countries, including the establishment of good relations with the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, is developing not only economic and political cooperation but also religious and spiritual collaboration.
Thus, the Jordanian King's visit to Uzbekistan further strengthened bilateral relations and played an important role in enhancing our country's prestige in international politics. Source: zamin.uz
