It has been decided to install special surveillance cameras in the 10th and 11th grade classrooms of all general education schools in Tashkent city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Through this measure, it will be possible to effectively monitor the duration of lessons, students' interest in subjects, and the quality of education for senior students. Additionally, the “Smart School” electronic system is planned to be gradually introduced in schools.
With the help of this system, the level of student participation in lessons, the quality of education, and their psychological state will be determined based on artificial intelligence. Moreover, information about students' interest in subjects and teachers' pedagogical skills will also be available.
According to the city mayor's decision, this initiative is being implemented to improve the quality of education in senior classes and to strengthen student attendance. The cameras will be installed at the expense of the local budget of each district.
It should be recalled that previously, as a pilot project in Olmazor district, 250 classrooms in 31 general education schools were equipped with the “Smart School” program. As a result of the trial, this system demonstrated high efficiency in monitoring the educational process, accounting for student attendance, and analyzing interest in subjects.
According to officials, if the project is implemented in all schools across Tashkent city, it will be an important step in improving the quality of education. At the same time, it will help strengthen student discipline and increase their interest in learning (source: zamin.uz).
