
Military personnel of the Ministry of Defense, Junior Sergeant Abdullayev Alishox and Third-Class Sergeant Jovkashev Shoxruh participated in the "Best Warrior-2025" competition held at the "Camp Shelby" military training base in Mississippi, USA, from March 17 to 20 of this year.
The competition, organized to strengthen international military cooperation and enhance the prestige of service in special units, saw our military personnel compete against the soldiers of the Special Forces of the US National Guard.
During the competition, Uzbek military personnel successfully completed individual physical training tests (Fitness test including 6 exercises), traversing a physical and mental stress course, night orienteering over a distance of 15 kilometers, marching with a 15-kilogram load over a distance of 20 kilometers, combat and general training tests, writing an essay (at least 500 words on military cooperation), controlling artillery fire, disassembling, assembling, and bringing US standard firearms to combat readiness, shooting in various methods and conditions, medical training, protection against weapons of mass destruction, and unexpected (surprise) exercises.
In particular, our military personnel completed the team event—marching with a 15-kilogram load over a distance of 20 kilometers in 1 hour and 50 minutes. Additionally, in individual events, Third-Class Sergeant Jovkashev Shoxruh covered a distance of 3 kilometers and 219 meters in 11 minutes and 18 seconds, while Junior Sergeant Abdullayev Alishox completed combined exercises over a distance of 250 meters in 1 minute and 18 seconds and successfully threw a 5-kilogram ball a distance of 12.3 meters. Notably, our military personnel set new competition records in all these events.
In the end, the military personnel were awarded a special prize for the competition. This is not the first achievement, of course. Since 2019, Uzbek military personnel have successfully participated in this competition, winning each time with absolute superiority over the participants.
On March 23, the winners were ceremoniously welcomed at the Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent.
