
Starting from the new academic year, the roads in front of schools in Tashkent city will be converted to one-way traffic. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision was made to prevent road traffic accidents and ensure the safety of students. According to Qahramon Khudoyberganov, the press secretary of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Directorate, the installation of necessary road signs and additional indicators is currently underway.
The Road Traffic Safety Department urges drivers to strictly comply with the new regulations. Additionally, efforts have been initiated to inform both the capital's visitors and local residents about the new rules.
This measure aims to ensure that drivers are aware of the new rules in advance and adhere to them. A representative of the Internal Affairs Directorate emphasized that increasing safety on roads in front of schools is of great importance in protecting the lives of the younger generation.
Because children crossing the road and violations of speed limits can cause many unfortunate incidents. To prevent such situations, local authorities, road services, and internal affairs bodies are actively cooperating.
