
Work on the construction of a new international airport in the Tashkent region is progressing according to a clear schedule. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the data from the Regional Cadastre Department, a total land area of 1309.76 hectares has been officially allocated for this project. Most of this land is being taken from the Ortachirchiq and Quyichirchiq districts.
The composition of the allocated area was also detailed. In total, there are 1075.45 hectares of irrigated land, 112.69 hectares of orchards, 0.65 hectares of pastures and hayfields, and 120.97 hectares of other types of land.
Additionally, 790.76 hectares have been allocated solely from the Ortachirchiq district, including 609.95 hectares of irrigated land, 112.63 hectares of orchards, 0.65 hectares of pastures and hayfields, and 67.53 hectares of other types of land. From the Quyichirchiq district, 519 hectares have been designated, consisting of 465.5 hectares of irrigated land, 0.06 hectares of orchards, and 53.44 hectares of other types of land.
This land allocation is one of the main stages of the new airport construction and holds significant importance for the implementation of the project (source: Regional Cadastre Department).
