President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent his congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of Ramadan holiday.
“Dear compatriots! First of all, I sincerely congratulate you, dear ones, and our entire nation on the great holiday – the blessed Ramadan holiday, and I express my highest respect and good wishes to all of you,” the congratulatory speech begins.
“In these blessed moments, we express our immense gratitude to the Creator for celebrating this year’s Ramadan in a worthy manner and welcoming Iyd-al-Fitr with joy and happiness together with our people,” said Mirziyoyev.
According to the head of state, the noble values of the sacred religion of Islam, which embodies the idea of humanism, have been vividly demonstrated during the month of Ramadan, showing how harmonious and aligned they are with the reforms being implemented in New Uzbekistan today.
“Especially, the fact that this blessed month is celebrated under the idea of ‘Ramadan is the month of generosity, unity, and tolerance’ has contributed to strengthening an atmosphere of peace, friendship, compassion, and generosity in our society,” the congratulatory speech states.
Mirziyoyev noted that numerous charitable events have been held to assist low-income families, the elderly, people with disabilities, and lonely individuals, to alleviate the hardships of the poor, to beautify homes and neighborhoods, and to plant trees with the participation of representatives from three generations, as well as to establish new gardens and orchards.
“On this glorious holiday, we also sincerely congratulate our compatriots living abroad with a sense of loyalty to their homeland and express our good wishes to them. On this blessed day, we warmly congratulate the Muslim community in distant and near countries and send our greetings of friendship to their peoples and nations. Dear and respected compatriots! Once again, I sincerely congratulate you on the Ramadan holiday and wish you all good health, happiness, and prosperity in your homes. May all our good intentions and prayers during the month of Ramadan be accepted! May Allah protect our beloved homeland and people! May the Iyd-al-Fitr holiday be blessed for all of us!” concludes the congratulatory speech.
