A decree was adopted by the President on further improving forensic examination activities and widely introducing modern technologies in the field. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decree envisages important innovations in the forensic examination system. According to the decree, the Chamber of Forensic Experts of Uzbekistan will be established based on voluntary membership of non-governmental forensic examination organizations.
This structure is aimed at uniting specialists in the field and enhancing their professional reputation. In addition, an Expert Qualification Commission will be established under the Ministry of Justice to assess the knowledge and practical training level of non-governmental forensic experts and to fairly consider cases related to their unlawful actions.
According to the new regulations, starting from November 1, 2025, a system for conducting forensic examinations in administrative offense cases through contracts based on lawyer requests will be introduced in forensic examination organizations. Furthermore, from December 1, 2025, non-governmental forensic experts will be granted the right to independently establish forensic examination bureaus.
From December 15, 2025, citizens will have the opportunity to apply online for forensic examination research through the "Forensic Expert" portal at the Republican Forensic Examination Center named after X. Sulaymonova. One of the most important innovations is that from January 1, 2026, experts of the Republican Forensic Examination Center will be required to use body cameras (mobile video cameras) during the inspection of objects.
These reforms will ensure transparency in the forensic examination field, firmly protect citizens' rights, and elevate the quality of services to a new level. Source: zamin.uz
