Teachers lost the attestation court in Tashkent
The court case of a group of teachers dissatisfied with the attestation process in Tashkent city has concluded. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

They filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, demanding the reorganization of the attestation exams and compensation for moral damages. However, the court found their claim unfounded and ruled in favor of the ministry.

The court session took place on September 8 and mainly involved teachers who teach the native language and literature subjects. Their lawyers also participated in the court proceedings, defending the interests of the plaintiffs.

The session, chaired by Judge Guli Shukurlayeva, was discussed four times. Representatives of the teachers emphasized that there were several shortcomings in the attestation process.

They stated that the test questions did not meet international standards, the questions were not tested, and transparency was not ensured during the evaluation process. They also presented evidence that the results were not impartial.

The ministry's lawyers rejected all accusations. According to them, the test materials were developed in accordance with international standards, tested, and the system was accredited by an international organization.

Therefore, the results are considered legal and fair. During the court process, the plaintiffs requested the appointment of new experts and a review of the quality of the questions and the evaluation process.

However, the court also rejected this request. As a result, the teachers' demands for re-conducting the attestation and compensation for moral damages were not satisfied.

According to the court decision, the teachers' claim was dismissed due to lack of substantiated evidence. At the same time, they were reminded that if dissatisfied with the decision, they have the right to appeal to a higher instance.

According to information, approximately 190,000 teachers participated in the attestation process this year. Nearly 59 percent of them failed the exam.

This situation sparked wide public discussion. Many complaints were expressed on social networks regarding the content of the questions, evaluation criteria, and transparency.

Based on such complaints, the teachers filed a lawsuit against the ministry. They claimed their rights were violated and fairness was not ensured in the attestation process.

However, the court authorities supported the ministry. Source: zamin.uz
