730 “Bayat” breed sheep were brought from the Republic of Mongolia to Namangan region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This breed belongs to the fat-tailed sheep type and is characterized by its ability to adapt to harsh climates and complex natural conditions. According to information, female “Bayat” sheep weigh 35–40 kilograms, while rams weigh up to 45–50 kilograms.
These animals provide high-quality meat and fat products, making them economically important in livestock farming. For now, the 730 sheep brought have been handed over to the “Akhsi Chorva” limited liability company in Uychi district of Namangan region.
In the future, their adaptation to local conditions, care, and breeding possibilities will be studied in detail. Within the overall project, a total of 100,000 pedigree sheep are planned to be imported from Mongolia.
According to experts, this initiative is significant for introducing new import-climatic technologies and innovations in livestock farming and will greatly contribute to the development of the local economy. At the same time, “Bayat” sheep will not only increase productivity but also play an important role in creating new economic opportunities and jobs for the people of Namangan.
This project is expected to contribute to the further development of livestock farming in the region. Source: zamin.uz.
