A new industrial zone launched in Namangan
On September 16, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev closely reviewed the projects being implemented in the "Taraqqiyot" industrial and service zone established in the new Namangan district. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In our country, technoparks and small industrial zones are being established in various regions to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs, expand economic sectors, and ensure employment for the population. In Namangan region, to date, a total of 73 industrial zones operate on an area of 1,500 hectares.

These efforts are also yielding results in the Sohil neighborhood of the new Namangan district. Previously, local entrepreneurs and artisans operated under limited conditions, mostly from home, but now they work on a large area equipped with modern infrastructure.

In the 10-hectare industrial zone established based on the "G‘ijduvon experience," 113 large and medium-capacity projects have been placed. All necessary infrastructure such as electricity, drinking and wastewater networks, as well as internal roads, were built using budget funds, creating favorable conditions for production.

As a result, there is an opportunity to produce and provide services worth 500 billion soums annually. Most importantly, 4,800 new jobs have been created.

One hundred seventy entrepreneurs from neighboring neighborhoods have been involved, and production based on cooperation has been established in more than 350 households. This significantly increases the economic activity of the population.

Additionally, the industrial zone offers the opportunity to retrain unemployed citizens in professions using ready-made equipment and practical training. These measures help reduce unemployment and poverty and improve the living standards of the population.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the service centers and spoke with local craftsmen. The head of state emphasized that new automobile factories are being launched in our country and the number of cars is increasing, but service quality is still insufficient.

It is also necessary to establish a service system for foreign cars. This will increase employment and improve service quality.

For this reason, instructions were given to establish such service centers in other districts as well and to train qualified personnel. The president also familiarized himself with an exhibition of furniture produced by local manufacturers.

Special instructions were given regarding youth gaining experience, supporting entrepreneurship, and expanding job opportunities. It was emphasized that the complex should include modern approaches aimed at ensuring working conditions, recreation, safety, and human dignity.

Information was also provided about large-scale projects being implemented in urban planning and housing construction in Namangan. These works are of great importance in creating modern living conditions for the population and in the comprehensive development of the regions.
