
Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced at the "From Poverty to Prosperity" forum that an additional 400 million dollars will be allocated by 2026 to develop infrastructure and entrepreneurship in neighborhoods. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These funds will be spent on implementing special programs in 32 districts and 328 neighborhoods facing difficult conditions. Additionally, infrastructure projects worth a total of 1.3 billion dollars will be carried out in 810 neighborhoods.
These projects include the construction of water supply, sewage systems, roads, schools, and kindergartens. Every year, 200 million dollars will be allocated in the form of mortgage subsidies for low-income families.
By 2025, 470 thousand households will be provided with water supply, and the quality of electricity will be improved in 790 thousand households. These measures are aimed at ensuring the socio-economic development of neighborhoods.
