The meeting was attended by Behzod Musayev, head of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, Ravshan Usmonov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Great Britain, and David Kemp, CEO of the British Labour Providers Association. Bilateral cooperation issues were discussed at the meeting.
David Kemp expressed readiness to take cooperation with the Uzbekistan Migration Agency to a new level. He emphasized his intention to create broad opportunities for placing Uzbek youth in companies in England.
Special attention was paid to agreements on the UK’s seasonal workers program during the negotiations. The parties agreed to increase the quotas for Uzbek citizens, conclude agreements with new seasonal operators, and organize recruitment processes in a safe and systematic manner.
The ALP organization operates in seasonal labor, food industry, logistics, and other major sectors in the UK. Currently, it has more than 300 large companies as members.
This meeting serves to expand opportunities for Uzbek youth to work under decent labor conditions in England. This will help our youth find jobs abroad and improve their skills.
