President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Boeing Global company president Brendan Nelson met in New York City, taking the strategic partnership between the two countries to a new level. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Boeing is considered one of the largest aviation and aerospace manufacturers in the world. This meeting serves to further strengthen the cooperation between Uzbekistan and Boeing company.

The partnership between Boeing and Uzbekistan has a long history, and the country is currently regarded as an important and strategic partner of the company. President Mirziyoyev emphasized the importance of increasing the efficiency of this cooperation and continuing it in the right direction.

Within the framework of the agreement, the airline "Uzbekistan Airways" reached an agreement to purchase new airplanes from Boeing. This agreement aims to develop Uzbekistan's air transport system and equip it with modern aviation technology.

Under the new contract, Uzbekistan Airways approved the purchase of 22 Boeing 787 Dreamliner airplanes in exchange for an investment fund of 8 billion dollars. This deal will make a significant contribution to the country's economy, as it will not only develop the transport sector but also create more than 35,000 new jobs in the United States.

During Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to the USA, US President Donald Trump also highly appreciated this deal. In a post on his social network, Trump recalled his meeting with the President of Uzbekistan and congratulated the large agreement signed with Boeing.

He noted that the deal plays an important role in strengthening strategic cooperation between the two countries. The meeting between Mirziyoyev and Trump serves to enhance Uzbekistan's position on the international stage and strengthen its role in the global economy.
