
Today, on September 23, the First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, visited a cultural exhibition held in New York City at the invitation of the First Lady of the Republic of Turkey, Emine Erdoğan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The event was organized to strengthen spiritual and cultural ties between the two countries. The exhibition presented the rich traditions, handicrafts, and culture of Anatolia harmonized with modern design elements.
The exposition featured national fabrics, handwoven carpets, jewelry, pottery products, as well as items made of wood and copper. These art samples represent not only historical heritage but also a contemporary worldview.
At the event, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Emine Erdoğan shared their views on developing cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. Their dialogue highlighted common values and increased attention to preserving cultural heritage.
Additionally, representatives of foreign delegations present in New York within the framework of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly also participated in the event. This cultural exhibition served to strengthen social and cultural relations between the two countries and deepened mutual understanding among peoples.
