Mirziyoyev and Abdullah II strengthened cooperation
An important diplomatic meeting took place between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein of Jordan within the framework of the United Nations General Assembly's jubilee session. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The meeting discussed strengthening friendly relations between the two countries and advancing cooperation in economic and political spheres to a new level. The implementation of agreements reached during the high-level visit of the King of Jordan to Uzbekistan in August of this year was thoroughly reviewed.

It was emphasized that this visit further developed bilateral relations and laid a solid foundation for cooperation in strategic directions. It was also noted that specific measures need to be defined to realize existing opportunities in trade, investment, and technology sectors.

Special attention was focused on accelerating priority investment projects involving leading companies. As a result, new partnerships are expected to emerge in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, tourism, as well as transport and logistics sectors.

The meeting highlighted that close cooperation between the two countries in political and economic fields is important not only for the countries themselves but also for stability and development throughout the entire region. At the conclusion of the dialogue, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Abdullah II expressed firm determination to further develop bilateral relations, strengthen practical cooperation, and implement joint initiatives.

This meeting opens a new chapter in Uzbekistan-Jordan relations and paves the way for numerous projects serving the interests of the peoples of both countries. Source: zamin.uz
