A new law has been adopted in the country, introducing significant amendments and additions to certain legal documents. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The "Legal Information" portal announced this. According to the law, individuals who disclose information and details obtained during the proceedings of a closed court session without special permission from the court will be held criminally liable.
Although the procedures and measures of criminal liability have not been detailed, these rules are recognized as an important innovation in the legal system. According to the new regulation, if a case is justified to be heard in a closed court session, the court will issue a separate ruling.
Based on this decision, persons participating in the closed court session will be specially warned and a written undertaking will be obtained from them. The undertaking states that if this obligation is violated, the person may be held liable under Article 239 of the Criminal Code.
Experts believe that this law further strengthens confidentiality and legality in court proceedings, increases the responsibility of participants, and plays an important role in ensuring judicial justice. The law came into force on the day of its official publication, marking a new stage in practice.
