Tourism leader in Samarkand organized illegal migration

It has been revealed that the head of a tourism company operating in the city of Samarkand gained the trust of a group of citizens and promised to illegally take them to the United States through Mexico. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This individual asked three citizens living in Samarkand and Urgut districts for $32,000 each. As a result, he planned to obtain a total of 96,000 US dollars.

During a rapid operation conducted in cooperation with the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, the company leader was caught while receiving an advance payment of $15,000. Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against him under Article 25 and Part 4, Clause "a" of Article 168 of the Criminal Code.
