On August 21, 2025, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed an important decree on the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in the judicial system. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The main purpose of this document is to increase justice and efficiency in court proceedings, reduce citizens' personal participation in courts, eliminate paperwork, and minimize human factors. Within the framework of the decree, the "Digital Court" concept will be implemented gradually.
By the end of 2025, modern courtrooms will be launched on a trial basis in Tashkent city. Based on the results of this experience, the concept will be introduced throughout the republic in 2026–2027.
From now on, court applications will only be submitted electronically, and a system for managing court cases in digital format will be established. This will create convenience for citizens and entrepreneurs and accelerate court proceedings.
Additionally, participants in court proceedings will have the opportunity to attend remotely. Court fees will be calculated electronically, and payments will also be made online.
This is an important factor in the fight against corruption. With the help of artificial intelligence, approximate results and costs will be calculated before the court hearing begins, helping citizens to assess their possibilities in advance.
All materials in the court process will be presented in electronic form, and the minutes of meetings will be automatically transcribed in real time. Draft court documents will also be prepared automatically.
From January 1, 2026, the interactive portal "my.sud.uz" will be launched. On this portal, a virtual advisor operating on artificial intelligence will answer legal questions and automatically provide court information.
According to Nodirjon Raimkulov, chairman of the criminal court of Uchko‘prik district, these reforms will bring the efficiency of fair justice in the judicial system to a new level (source: zamin.uz).
