
In the first quarter of 2025, an additional 10 billion soums from the state budget have been allocated for planting seasonal flower seedlings and carrying out city beautification works in Tashkent city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These funds were directed to the local budget and distributed at the city and district levels. On September 29, the Tashkent City Council approved the allocation of these funds to the city beautification main department and district beautification departments.
Of the allocated funds, 1.82 billion soums are for the general needs of the beautification departments, while the remaining 8.18 billion soums were distributed across the districts. The largest amount, 815 million soums, was allocated for the beautification of central squares.
Additionally, 748 million soums were designated for street beautification, 190 million soums for servicing government facilities, and 67 million soums for providing services to citizens. With these funds, the planting of seasonal flower seedlings and the improvement of squares and streets will be effectively organized.
It should also be noted that in April 2024, 7.92 billion soums were allocated in Tashkent city for the purchase of flower seedlings. This decision is aimed at further improving the city's appearance and enhancing the well-being of the population.
