The Civil Aviation Agency has granted permission to Etihad Airways to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan in order to further develop cooperation in the field of aviation between Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This permission was issued in accordance with the intergovernmental air service agreement between Uzbekistan and the UAE signed on November 17, 1998, covering the route connecting Abu Dhabi and Tashkent. According to information, Airbus A320-232/251N and A321-231/251NX aircraft will be used for the flights.
This decision serves to strengthen aviation ties between the two countries and expand international air transportation. Experts believe that the new flights by Etihad Airways will help develop business, tourism, and cultural exchange.
At the same time, new opportunities and convenient transit connections will emerge for passengers. The new route is expected to increase competition in local airports and tourism services, leading to improvements in prices and service quality.
This news will contribute to further strengthening economic and cultural relations between the countries. Source: zamin.uz
