Mirziyoyev will participate in the Turkic summit in Azerbaijan

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan on October 6-7 at the invitation of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The President's press service announced this. During the visit, the head of state will participate in the upcoming summit of the Organization of Turkic States, which will be held in the city of Gabala.

This summit is dedicated to the theme "Regional Peace and Security," and issues related to the development and expansion of multilateral cooperation within the organization will be discussed. The summit will exchange views on prospects for practical cooperation in politics, trade and economy, innovation, investment, energy, transport and communication, as well as humanitarian fields.

The heads of delegations will also share experiences on pressing issues of international politics. At the conclusion of the meeting, a number of joint decisions and documents are planned to be adopted to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation among the member states of the organization.
