In recent days, nighttime cold has been intensifying in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This situation indicates that the autumn season is entering an active phase. Russian meteorologist Eduard Mikhaylov provided information about when the first significant snowfall might occur in the country.
According to him, no snowfall is expected at the end of October and the beginning of November. Accurate weather forecasts are usually designed for a 3-5 day period, with an accuracy of 96 percent.
The accuracy of 5-7 day forecasts is around 85-87 percent. Forecasts longer than 14 days are considered more approximate.
Additionally, based on the characteristics of Central Asia's climate and data from previous years, snowfall may begin at least from mid-November. In recent years, the winter season in the region has been considerably cold.
This situation is related to atmospheric instability and the increasing influence of Arctic air on southern regions. Overall, despite the ongoing global warming process, there is a possibility of a cold and stable winter season similar to last year, says Eduard Mikhaylov.
