Uzbekistan won a gold medal at EXPO
At the EXPO world exhibition held in Osaka, Japan, the Uzbekistan pavilion was awarded the most prestigious prize in its category — the gold medal in the “Best Theme Presentation” nomination. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was announced by Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of the Presidential Administration, on her Telegram channel. During the award ceremony, it was noted that the conceptual idea of the Uzbekistan pavilion titled “Garden of Knowledge: A Laboratory for the Society of the Future” made a strong impression on both visitors and experts.

This project is distinguished by its harmonious blend of our nation's rich traditions and modern innovations. In her speech, Saida Mirziyoyeva said: “Our idea resonated widely across the global community.

I sincerely thank our team who believed in the project and implemented it with inspiration, as well as our international partners.” The BIE award at the EXPO exhibition has been given since 1928 to pavilions that showcase advanced technologies, innovative approaches, and the cultural characteristics of participating countries. This award recognizes creative ideas and new perspectives in solving global problems.

According to the organizers, the “Garden of Knowledge” concept is closely linked to the main theme of EXPO 2025 — “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” Through this project, Uzbekistan demonstrated special attention to human potential, thinking, and the values of science.

This is a historic achievement for Uzbekistan, which has been participating in EXPO exhibitions since 1993. For the first time, the country received a BIE gold medal.

This success is not only the result of the pavilion’s design and technologies but also enhanced Uzbekistan’s reputation as a new-generation center of knowledge and scientific thought. Experts believe that this achievement will strengthen Uzbekistan’s international standing and provide new impetus for future innovative initiatives.

Thus, the “Garden of Knowledge” concept showcased Uzbekistan’s modern image not only at EXPO but also to the entire world (source: Presidential Administration Telegram channel).
