Pension system updated in harmful working conditions

According to the Government Resolution No. 637 dated October 10, 2025, a new regulation has been approved that establishes the procedure for preferential retirement for workers engaged in harmful or hazardous working conditions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to this procedure, proposals for amendments to the list of workers, professions, and positions are submitted in two copies by the employer and the trade union. Subsequently, a special Commission thoroughly examines the following: compliance of the workplace and technological processes with design requirements, the condition of equipment and adherence to safety rules, as well as the availability and condition of personal protective equipment.

If deficiencies or violations in working conditions are identified, they must be rectified before certification. The main purpose of this regulation is to protect the interests of employees working in harmful conditions and to clearly define their opportunities for early retirement.
