A criminal case has been initiated against former deputy Olimjon Sulaymonov, born in 1964, by law enforcement agencies. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He is being prosecuted under Part 2 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to information, although Sulaymonov was summoned several times by the investigative authorities with official summons, he deliberately preferred not to appear.
For this reason, on October 14, law enforcement agencies forcibly brought him in for investigation on a legal basis. Currently, investigative actions are actively ongoing within the scope of the criminal case.
Additionally, official authorities warned some activists on social networks that if attempts to influence the investigation process or interfere with the case are carried out via the internet, this will lead to liability before the law. Source: zamin.uz
