
A large-scale tourism project will be implemented in the Qamchiq Pass in Namangan region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Within the framework of this project, a modern cableway and a recreation area are planned to be established. The project was developed by the famous Austrian company Doppelmayr/Garaventa and covers a total area of 90 hectares.
The construction works will be financed by Jobirxon Kamalitdinov, the head of the “Aisha Group” company. The work is scheduled to begin in July 2025.
Additionally, a new tourist area is planned to be created along the Norin River. This area will include sports facilities, swimming pools, recreation spots, and camping zones.
The goal of the project is to increase the tourism potential of the region and to develop both domestic and international tourism. Source: zamin.uz
