The number of tourists visiting Uzbekistan has increased

Uzbekistan has achieved a new success in the tourism sector. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Since April 2025, the country has been receiving over one million foreign tourists every month. According to the National Statistics Committee, the number of tourists visiting Uzbekistan in the first nine months of this year exceeded 8.6 million.

This figure represents a 112.5 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The sharp rise in tourist flow is especially noticeable from certain countries.

For example, the number of tourists from the United Kingdom increased 2.6 times, from Qatar 6.2 times, and from the USA 3 times. Additionally, a significant increase was recorded in the number of tourists from France, Russia, Hungary, Germany, and Poland.

This year, the export of tourism services also grew, exceeding 3.6 billion US dollars. According to officials, this success is the result of reforms aimed at enhancing Uzbekistan's tourism potential, expanding international air traffic, and improving service quality.
