The Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan International Award for Human Fraternity was established in honor of Sheikh Zayed and was first introduced in 2019. The award is presented annually on February 4, the International Day of Human Fraternity.
Laureates receive a prize of 1 million US dollars. This award aims to acknowledge individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to strengthening brotherhood and tolerance among people, promoting peace, humanitarianism, and intercultural dialogue.
