
During the first two days of the control measures carried out within the framework of the cleanliness and freedom month in Uzbekistan, more than 770 violations related to waste disposal were identified. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Ecology, strict measures are being taken within the law against citizens and organizations that dispose of waste in unauthorized places. In particular, on October 15, 328 violations were recorded across the country, and a total fine of 224 million 360 thousand soums was imposed on them.
The following day, October 16, 443 cases were identified, with a total fine of 310 million 340 thousand soums imposed. In addition, preventive talks on environmental pollution prevention were held with 1,095 enterprises and citizens.
The main goal of these activities is to raise the ecological culture of the population and ensure cleanliness in public places. Control measures are ongoing, and a strict stance is maintained against violations of the law.
