More than half of the families who applied to the court for divorce in Tashkent city were reconciled. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This information was provided by the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan (UzA). According to the data, over 432 thousand cases were considered in the civil courts of the capital from January to September of this year.
Approximately 7 thousand of these cases were related to divorce, which is 468 more than last year. About 3 thousand divorce cases were officially concluded with a divorce, while 3,784 families were preserved through court reconciliation measures.
The practice of giving families time, conducting consultations, and providing psychological assistance in the courts played an important role in achieving this positive result. Additionally, nearly 3.5 thousand complaints were reviewed in the appellate and cassation instances of civil cases, most of which remained unchanged.
During the court activities, 199 private divorces were issued regarding violations of the law and sent to the relevant organizations. Since the beginning of the year, it has been reported that nearly 32 thousand families have divorced across the country.
At a meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, these issues were seriously discussed, emphasizing the need to widely promote prenuptial agreements and provide material protection for families. The reconciliation work of the capital's courts shows that with the right approach and counseling, many families can be preserved.
