
Tariffs for hot water and heating services in Tashkent city will increase by 15 percent. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by Veolia Energy Tashkent company. According to the decision of the capital's mayor, new tariffs for centralized heating supply services have been approved.
According to the new tariffs, the base price excluding VAT is set at 711,641 soums/Gcal. The tariff for the population is 139,860 soums, for budget organizations 952,797 soums, and for other large consumers 342,296 soums.
Currently, the capital's residents pay only 18 percent of the base tariff, with the remaining part covered by city budget subsidies. The government plans to gradually eliminate these subsidies by 2030.
Veolia Energy Tashkent company aims to transfer full payment for heating services to consumers over the next five years. Additionally, the company plans to increase gas and electricity tariffs from May 1, 2025, and tariffs for heating sources from June 15, 2025.
