Electricity and natural gas prices will not be increased during this year's autumn-winter season. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by the Minister of Energy, Jo‘rabek Mirzamahmudov. According to the minister, in order to maintain stable energy supply for the population and ensure social stability, there will be no changes in prices.
At the same time, the government is implementing comprehensive measures to ensure the stability of the energy system and improve the quality of supply. As Mirzamahmudov emphasized, electricity and natural gas prices will be indexed at the inflation rate in May next year.
This process is planned to be carried out gradually, taking into account the interests of the population. According to the Ministry of Energy, preventing disruptions in energy supply during the autumn-winter season, effectively managing production capacities, and providing consumers with uninterrupted energy are top priorities.
Thus, price stability will be maintained this season, ensuring the convenience of the population and the reliability of the energy system (source: one.uz).
