
In the World Happiness Report ranking for 2025, Uzbekistan ranked 53rd among 147 countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This study analyzed a number of factors related to the population's living standards and quality of life. In particular, criteria such as income level, health status, trust within society, personal freedom of choice, and support provided by the community were taken into account.
Additionally, the level of satisfaction people have with their own lives was also evaluated as an important factor. Finland once again took first place in the ranking and was recognized as one of the happiest countries in the world.
Afghanistan remains at the bottom of the list. Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan achieved the highest score, ranking 40th.
Uzbekistan ranked 53rd, Kyrgyzstan 64th, Tajikistan 80th, and Turkmenistan 91st. This ranking was compiled with the support of the UN, based on survey results conducted between 2022 and 2024.
