
In the QS Asia University Rankings for 2026, 23 higher education institutions of Uzbekistan secured their positions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the ranking results, the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers achieved the highest result, ranking 103rd among Asian universities. The institute scored 67.4 points in the ranking.
Additionally, the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek ranked 180th, and Tashkent State University of Economics placed 274th. Within the top 500, Tashkent State Technical University (301st place) and Samarkand State University (307th place) also managed to secure their names.
The remaining higher education institutions, including universities of information technology and regional universities in Fergana, Bukhara, and Urgench, were ranked between 550+ and 1300. The absolute leader of this ranking was the National University of Singapore, which took first place once again.
Universities from Hong Kong, China, and South Korea also featured in the top ten.
