
Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Washington on November 4 on a working visit at the invitation of US President Donald Trump. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The main events of the visit are scheduled for November 5-6. During this visit, a meeting between the two heads of state is expected to take place, and President Mirziyoyev is anticipated to participate in the "C5+1" summit, which unites the leaders of Central Asian countries and the United States.
During the visit, meetings with representatives of the US Congress, government, and business circles are also planned. The negotiations will discuss strengthening trade and economic cooperation, implementing investment projects, and developing joint initiatives.
Additionally, opportunities for cooperation in the fields of transport, logistics, and modern technologies will be considered. At the end of the visit, a number of documents related to bilateral cooperation are expected to be signed.
The "C5+1" diplomatic dialogue format was initially launched in 2015 at the level of foreign ministers. The first high-level meeting involving the presidents of Central Asian countries and the US leader took place in September 2023.
