The National Statistics Committee has published updated data on per capita income of the population of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In January–September 2025, the total income of the population amounted to 825.3 trillion soms. This figure is 8.4 percent higher compared to the same period last year, taking inflation into account.
According to the report, the average per capita financial income across the country amounted to 21.8 million soms. The nominal growth rate of income was 116.1 percent, while the real growth was 106.3 percent.
This indicates an increase in material opportunities for certain segments of the population. By region, the highest income was recorded in the city of Tashkent.
The capital's population had an average per capita income of 52 million soms, leading the country in this indicator. Navoi region ranked second (32.1 million soms), followed by Bukhara region in third place (26 million soms).
The figures for other regions are as follows: Khorezm region – 22.8 million soms, Tashkent region – 21.9 million soms, Andijan region – 19.4 million soms, Fergana region – 18.5 million soms, Samarkand region – 18.1 million soms, Syrdarya region – 17.2 million soms, Jizzakh region – 17.1 million soms, Kashkadarya region – 17 million soms, Surkhandarya region – 16.5 million soms, Namangan region – 15.8 million soms, Republic of Karakalpakstan – 14.8 million soms. The Republic of Karakalpakstan has the lowest per capita income, which is explained by the limited wage levels and economic activity in certain sectors in this region.
Earlier, it was also reported that 73 thousand income-less families were provided with employment and social assistance was given to over 600 thousand families in the country. According to economists, the growth in population income is related to the development of small businesses, service and industrial sectors, as well as the government's economic reforms.
