The press service of the Tashkent metro commented on the passenger congestion observed at the 'Paxtakor' metro station. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to them, this situation has been widely discussed on social media. According to investigations, the incident occurred between 18:20 and 18:50.
At that time, the flow of passengers sharply increased and trains arriving from both directions reached the station in a short period. For this reason, many passengers tried to transfer to other routes.
To resolve this situation, the authorities launched additional reserve trains on all routes. As a result, the congestion is usually resolved within 3-4 minutes.
It was also noted that recently the demand for the Tashkent metro has significantly increased. Many passengers prefer to use the metro instead of buses and minibuses.
This once again confirms the convenience and speed of metro transport.
