Starting from November 22, the "Uzbekistan Railways" Joint Stock Company will introduce new tariffs for train tickets on the Nukus–Urganch–Nukus route. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The company’s press service announced this. According to the new prices, the ticket price for adults will be 40,000 soms, and for children, it will be 21,500 soms.
Previously, adults paid 20,000 soms, and children paid 11,500 soms. Thus, prices are nearly doubling.
It is emphasized that these changes are being made to improve service quality and comfort, as well as to ensure the efficiency of train operations. It is reminded that the train on the "Nukus–Urganch–Nukus" route started operating on September 27 of this year.
The train departs daily from Nukus at 05:30 in the morning and arrives in Urganch at 08:50. The return trip leaves Urganch at 15:30 and reaches Nukus at 18:50.
According to passengers, this route holds significant importance for domestic tourism. Hundreds of people travel daily between the two regions via this service.
This also serves to strengthen interregional connections.
