Uzbekistan is approaching an important stage on the path to joining the World Trade Organization (WTO). This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This information was provided by a UPL correspondent. On November 6, bilateral negotiations between Uzbekistan and Ecuador on market access issues were successfully completed.
As a result, the parties reached a mutual agreement. To date, Uzbekistan still needs to successfully complete negotiations with two more countries to join the WTO.
It is worth emphasizing that Uzbekistan has been actively working for many years to become a member of this international organization. According to the government, joining the WTO will open wide the country's path to new international markets and accelerate economic development.
The country's efforts in this regard are aimed at strengthening international cooperation and increasing economic opportunities.
