
Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented two symbolic gifts to US President Donald Trump during their official meeting in Washington. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Gazeta.uz, the meeting took place at the White House.
During the negotiations, a small golden-colored model of the Registan complex was displayed on the table. This gift was presented as a symbolic token representing Uzbekistan's rich historical heritage and national values.
The model was given to reflect the strength of friendship and cooperation ties between Uzbekistan and the United States. Additionally, President Mirziyoyev gifted Donald Trump a copy of the book "The Art of the Deal," which Trump co-authored.
This book was published in 1987 and highlights Trump's business experience and life perspectives. Donald Trump described this work as one of his favorite books, calling it "my most important book after the Bible."
The meeting between the two state leaders took place in an atmosphere enriched with mutual respect, appreciation of cultural values, and symbolic gifts. The Registan model presented by Uzbekistan was interpreted as a symbol of friendship and historical closeness between the two countries.
